Topic of discussion

Technology companies share a common challenge: an uncertain market where the key is to quickly impress a potential customer. Why should a customer choose us? What do we offer that is so interesting or better than some other, existing solution?

It turns out that this is not just a matter of bare functionality. Nor is it something that happens automatically when you combine good product design and advertising the benefits of the product. The strongest impression is made on the basis of emotions: the user identifies with our appeal, he sees his life improved by our solution, he will receive social validation by using our product, etc.

This morning's coffee will give us the opportunity to learn about the branding of digital products, which influences the verbal and visual perception of users. Mina Arko, Creative Director at Chipolo, will present it to us.

Mina Arko

She co-creates brands with companies, while thinking with creative teams within companies about how to support their business or strategic goals. It addresses questions such as: why do some people like or develop positive attitudes towards certain brands, while others are indifferent. She reflects on ethics and attitudes towards data, and in particular how to talk to technology companies about sustainability and why it is important for success in tomorrow's world. She holds a Master's degree from Aalto University in Finland and has done further training at Art+Com in Berlin. She currently works as a creative director at Chipolo, working on partnership campaigns for Apple, Google and Secrid, among others.
